The blue time scale of the message application WhatsApp allows users to know when the recipient read their email. The feature released earlier this month did not satisfy some users. In this regard, WhatsApp now allows users to disable this read receipt feature, but only if the user must use an Android phone. This update is still in beta, which means it will not be a full official release. Once the user installs this update, this feature can be disabled in the privacy screen in Settings. When this update is fully rolled out, users of other platforms, including iOS and Blackberry, can see the changes. Before this, there were two ticks in WhatsApp's message representing two cases respectively. One gray means that the message was successfully sent, and the other gray scale means it has been read. Now, when the mail has been sent, delivered and read, the double grey scale turns blue. In a group chat, the second scale is displayed after all participants in the group receive the message. After all participants read, double scales will appear.
