1. Check the cavitation of the pneumatic diaphragm pump and lower the speed of the pump so that the liquid enters the liquid chamber.
2. Check if the ball is stuck. If the operating liquid is incompatible with the pump's elastomer, the elastomer will expand. Replace the elastomer with the proper material.
3. Check whether the joint of the inlet of the pneumatic diaphragm pump is fully locked and not leaking, especially the clamp near the inlet end ball needs to be locked.
Pneumatic diaphragm pumps do not operate or operate slowly:
1. Check the filter inlet or air filter of the diaphragm pump for impurities.
2. Check that the diaphragm pump air valve is stuck and clean the air valve with the cleaning solution.
3. Check the diaphragm pump air valve for wear and replace with new parts if necessary.
4. Check the condition of the sealing parts of the center of the diaphragm pump. If it is seriously worn, the sealing effect cannot be achieved, and the air will be drained from the air outlet end. Due to its special construction, use only GLYD rings.
5. Check that the piston in the diaphragm pump air valve is working properly.
6. Check the type of diaphragm pump lubricant. If the added lube oil is higher than the recommended oil viscosity, the piston may get stuck or operate abnormally. Lightweight and antifreeze lubricants are recommended. (antifreeze oil of ISO grade 15/5 WT).
The product flows from the air vent:
Inspect the diaphragm for cracks and check that the diaphragm and the inner and outer splints click on the pinch valve on the shaft: increase the outlet or inlet lift.
Commonly used pneumatic diaphragm pumps are mainly divided into: engineering plastic diaphragm pumps, aluminum alloy diaphragm pumps, QBY-type pneumatic diaphragm pumps pneumatic diaphragm pump air valve ice:
Check if the moisture content of the compressed air is too high, and install air drying equipment to produce air bubbles at the outlet of the pneumatic diaphragm pump:
Inspect the diaphragm pump diaphragm for cracks and check that the clamps are tight, especially the inlet tube clamps.
WARNING: Before modifying the diaphragm pump, remove the air source piping from the pump and drain the diaphragm pump air pressure. Remove all lines connecting the pump's inlet and outlet, then drain the pump's fluid into a suitable container. Wear a protective cap, glasses, gloves.
The pneumatic diaphragm pump operates, but the flow rate is small or no liquid flows at all:
