China's 2011 chemical industry price index is 104.01 points

The price index of the petrochemical industry released by the National Bureau of Statistics shows that from January to December 2011, the cumulative index for the petroleum and chemical industries was 112.7 points (cumulative price for the same period of the previous year was 100, the same below), which was 0.3 points lower than that in November. Among them, the cumulative price index for natural crude oil (105.11, 0.41, 0.39%) and natural gas extraction industry during the period of January-December was 124.5, 0.6 percentage point lower than that in November, and 13.31 points lower than the same period of last year; the cumulative price index for the manufacturing industry of refined petroleum products was 116.5, 0.6 points lower than in November, a year-on-year decrease of 1.78 points; the cumulative price index of the chemical industry was 109, which was 0.2 points lower than that in November and 1.65 points higher than the same period of last year. In the month of December, the industry-wide price index for the petroleum and chemical industries was 108.7 points. The price level fell 0.3 points from November and rose 0.63 points year-on-year. Among them, the crude oil and natural gas exploration industry price index was 118.3 points, an increase of 9.37 points; the refined petroleum product manufacturing industry price index was 111 points, an increase of 0.68 points; the chemical industry price index was 104.01 points, a year-on-year decrease of 7.22 points.
